[Sponsored Review] Petite Cherry Jasmine Set

~Hello~

This review is a little different then my usual ones since it's not a cosmetic or lens review!
Today I'll be reviewing a lingerie set sponsored to me by Petite Cherry.

Petite Cherry is a lingerie company that carries Japanese styled lingerie. What does this mean?
Well, in the US, we definitely have a certain style of bras and underwear that tend to lean on the more "sexy" style while japanese under garments tend to go for a more "cute/sexy" aesthetic. Most of their sets or pieces have a lot of lace or cute designs that definitely separate them from their western counterparts.
See what I thought about this set below!

(Disclaimer: Don't read if you are offended by the words "Breasts/Boobs/etc")
Petite Cherry Jasmine

After speaking to the company and picking out which set I wanted to review, the package took aprox. 2 weeks to arrive!

It was shipped in a subtle poly bag with no labels as to what it was. This can be a good thing if you want to be "discrete".
After opening the bag, the set comes packaged in a super cute black box, wrapped in tissue paper and held together with a black ribbon.

This is just a card that was in the bag with the set.
The set has some lacy details but has a simple black base.
The lace is actually an overlay over the cups of the bra instead of being strictly stitched on.
The cups are EXTREMELY padded which gives a great lift and really pushes the breasts together. The cups aren't too firm which tends to be a turn off for me when it comes to bras.

The clip in the back is a three prong instead of the usual two that comes in US brands.
I own several Korean bras so this type of back clasp is very common in asian brands.

The underwear is elastic and has a lot of give in it and is full coverage. This means that it covers the butt completely!

Now, the size I choose is a 75 C. On the site it has "32/70", "34/75" and "32/80". This is to help you figure out the size you should get since sizes can have different numbers depending on the country.

I am usually a 32 C in US sizes but I know that asian products are made a wee bit smaller even if it's listed as the right size. This made me go for the 75 instead.

I was able to fit the set...but it wasn't ideal. I will admit that over the last year, I've gained about 10 pounds. I usually ran a solid 105-110 but now I'm around 123. It hasn't been the most pleasant but it's something that my body is going through so I'm working to improve it. (I'm pretty sure it's because my jobs for the most part are "stationary" and work is pretty much my whole life, haha).

The 32 C size is my CURRENT size and I used to be a 32 B. The reason that the cup size has gone up is obviously from the weight gain but my under bust measurement hasn't changed. Most of the weight has gone to my thighs...which most short girls can relate to I'm sure, haha.

Anyways, I ordered a bit up and the bra still squeezed me to wear I had obvious signs of it being an ill fit.

The 80 might have been a better fit, haha.

I've actually heard a lot of girls thinking that the smaller the size of the bra, the bigger the cleavage will be. I can't express how much I disagree! The smaller the cup (assuming you're a larger size) will just amount to squeezing unpleasantly and not being able to cover the boobs properly!

You should always wear a bra that fits and, yes, they do make ones with a lot of push and lift!

The underwear (which I'm not modeling, lol.) was tight and gave me a muffin top.

This by no means is me saying that the bra and underwear were bad quality, much the opposite! Both are very solidly made and seem very durable. They just didn't fit well, haha.

The whole set costs only 30.95USD which is a STEAL if you know how much other name brand bras cost not including underwear to match!

If you know your size and are petite, I definitely recommend Petite Cherry because the bra did give me A LOT of cleavage and the cups covered well...it was just a bit too tight.

  1. It seems that they sent you items that were made correctly, and I'm happy for you!

I want to warn potential customers of this business though...

I bought a few items. One item was made defectively, and it's quite obvious. I notified them of the defect and sent pictures with at least 2 different angles. They then sent me instructions on how to return it. I paid for shipping and handling out of my pocket... not a penny reimbursed by the company. Their return policy says they won't. I was upset, but was ok with it as long as a replacement item was sent back. So, over a month goes by and I hadn't heard from anyone. I politely asked if they had received it and they said that they hadn't. Another month goes by and I send another e-mail. I was still polite, but I let them know that I was upset. Someone by the name of Bree told me they were going to send a replacement item. More than a month goes by again and nothing, still. Finally, I e-mail them again. I'm unpleasant at this point and tell them that if they plan on stringing me along for nothing they should just tell me so. No one replies. Then, ironically, two days later I get my "replacement." Well, surprise, surprise, it's the SAME item. Exact same one. I know it is because I kept pictures of when I received it the first time. Same strap is messed up. So, at this point, I'm quite upset.

Anyway, I'm writing this because I don't want anyone else to be played as a fool like I was. It was a 3 month ordeal of horrible customer service. Maybe it was the representative I dealt with. Her name is Bree... so if you brave buying from them, beware if you contact customer service and your representative is her. I'd recommend asking for someone else to help you. Better yet, try finding a different company to buy from.

I hope this helps someone at least.
