OLENS Scandi contacts Review [Light Gray]

I was surprised that Olens decided to do another gray color in this line but I definitely think it was a good call.
Light Gray is one of the brighter colors of the line and I'm personally a huge fan of the light colored constants that actually SHOW UP Light colored on dark eyes.

This color is ~perfection~ and I'd personally love to see it as a daily lens also.

Something that I haven't mentioned before is that Olens is the official lens company for the members of BLACKPINK and I died a little bit when I found out that the girls wore these exact lenses in their recent MVs.

Lisa is my personal favorite (like...favorite favorite) and she wore these in their Ice Cream MV. I was originally going to try and recreate her look for this review but Lisa is basically a queen and I cannot compare so I didn't even attempt it. LOL
But, I did get some clip in bangs as an homage to her, haha.

Once again, if you didn't read the first installment of this series of reviews with Olive (which I'd really appreciate it if you diddd) here's the basics of this line

Hazel, Gray, Olive = Daily (10 pieces/5 Pairs or 20 pieces/10 pairs)  and Monthly ( 2 Pieces/ 1 pair)
Aqua, Light Gray = Monthly ( 2 Pieces / 1 pair)

Daily 10 piece = $21 per box
Daily 20 piece = $34 per box

I love that you can really see the colors fading from bold to soft around the edges in the design.

When it comes to lenses for dark eyes, I do think the blending of colors is one of the most important thing in making them look natural. When you have distinct lines in a lens, it can look very "dolly" which is a plus for some circle lenses or in cosplay but for every day use, companies have to use their colors and designs wisely.

When you add that little bit of brown in the center near the pupil, i really do feel like it helps the transition on the eye look more seamless.

These lenses have some major IMPACT and photograph great!

Olens compares this lens with their Russian Velvet Silver (which i've also tried, haha) and describes it as being similar which I do somewhat agree. They both have that light gray effect on dark eyes but I do think that RVS look more "two-toned" while Scandi looks more 3-toned because of the slight brown in the very center that blends into the gray and then because the gray fades into your natural eye, it makes the design look more complex.

Color
One of the brightest lenses in the line. I really do think the line focused on the depth of the color which makes them really natural looking while still adding that "wow" factor.
In comparison to the original Gray color, I can't decided which is my favorite. They both serve their purpose which light gray being more WOW and the OG gray being very natural looking.

Design
I mentioned this under the design picture but I really do love the transitions of colors and boldness in this lens from the design.

Size
Perfect size for every day use! (I'm gonna say this in every review of the Scandi line lol)
I've used lenses ranging in sizes from 14.2mm to 17mm and sometimes it's nice to have those "every-day" lenses. I think these are just the right size for that.

Comfort
I think I've gushed enough about the comfort of these lenses, haha. Just know that these are sensitive eyes approved!
